Of Love, Marriage and Curse

A film is relevant when it goes beyond the subject and making questions and responses erupted  says director Sudhansu saria .he was speaking in a meet the press organized by IFFK. His film Loev is about love between two men but he says the social stigma attached to it has to be dealt by the society since the emotional realm revolves around it is love, just simply love “Individually a film should affect your conscience to generate a response within” he said.
Middle class marriage and its complexities portrays in the film ‘Revelations’ by Vijay jaypal. To be connected with the audience especially when you tell a story about average human beings and their emotions, one has to use tools to provoke  the audience to think, said vijay Jaypal.
 Vikrant Massey who starred in Konkana Sen Sarma’s Debut film The Death in the Gunj’ said the female director has skillfully exploited the actor in him and she was very simple and easy to work with.
The film ‘The Cursed Ones talk about a girl who was victimized for witch craft and the hunt for her blood by the society. The story is ever-relevant said the director Nana Obri yaboah. Chinese film editor Guo Xiadong  too were present in the meet press.
