Touring Talkies heralding the launch of film fest culminates
The proclamation of the 21st International Film Festival of Kerala to be inaugurated by V.S. Sunil Kumar, Minister of Agriculture ,Government of Kerala at Shangumugham today at 5pm. The minister will also inaugurate the closing ceremony of ‘Touring Talkies’, a mobile film venture of the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy foretelling the gala.
The program will be presided over by Adv V.K. Prasanth, Mayor of Trivandrum. KSFDC Chairman Lenin Rajendran will release the poster of 21st IFFK, handing it over to actor Madhupal. Rakhi Ravikumar-Deputy Mayor of Trivandrum, Rani George IAS-Secretary, Cultural Affairs Department, Kamal- State Chalachitra Academy Chairman and film actors Jalaja and Sreekumar will also attend the function. This will be followed by the musical feast of ‘Oorali’ band and the screening of ‘Ottal’, a film by Jayaraj that bagged the ‘Golden Crown Pheasant Award’ of 20th IFFK.
